Yes. Cancel from your account settings at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period. No refunds on partial months.

Deleted servers are held for a short recovery window, after which all associated data — triggers, scheduled messages, bot configuration — is permanently removed. We make no guarantees about restoration after deletion. If you delete your account entirely, all data is purged immediately.

Your password is never stored. We store only a one-way hash — it cannot be reversed or read by anyone, including us.

Your email address is encrypted and stored securely. It is only used to send account-related messages (password resets, invitations, important notices). We do not sell or share it with third parties.

Yes. Bot tokens are encrypted at rest and are never displayed in the interface after initial entry. Only the running bot process has access to the decrypted token.

No. The bot reads messages only to check for trigger keywords. Message content is not stored or retained by ModBotHQ.

No. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Yes. Each server requires its own Discord application and bot token, created via the Discord Developer Portal. This keeps your bot running under your own account with your own branding.

No. Each server must use a unique bot token. Reusing tokens across servers is not supported and will be rejected.

At minimum: Send Messages, Read Message History, and View Channels in the channels you want it active in. Additional features (e.g., sending images, managing roles) may require additional permissions.

Yes. ModBotHQ is built to operate within Discord's ToS and developer policies. You are also responsible for ensuring your bot's usage and the content it posts complies with Discord's ToS. See our Terms of Service for details.

Discord is currently supported. Telegram and Slack support are planned for future releases.

We target high availability but do not currently offer a formal SLA. Planned maintenance is announced in advance via our support channels.

ModBotHQ must not be used to post, distribute, or facilitate illegal content of any kind, including but not limited to: sexually explicit material, content that violates Discord's Terms of Service, harassment, hate speech, or any content that violates applicable law.
